Rio Carroll was diagnosed with Degos disease at Birmingham Children’s Hospital, UK in April 2007.

Unfortunately the disease progressed quite rapidly and attacked Rio’s central nervous system and gut quite aggressively.

Rio fought very hard but, at only 8 months old, and after enduring so much, he lost his fight for life on May 4, 2007.

Rio
